The sun shone on Harrington Grove last Sunday as members of the Community prepared for a day of car washing and fundraising. All proceeds from the day went to Inghams Institute, in loving memory ot Aiden Hyde.
The Country Club was a buzz of activity as car after car lined up in the lower car park to get their cars washed by a team of amazing volunteers.
The amphitheatre was alive with rafffles, silent auctions, cake stalls, facepainting, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle plus plenty more.
Polair made a special visit in the morning when it hovered over the Country Club, much to the delight of the kids.
An array of show cars and emergency vehicles were on display for people to check out. For a donation the kids (and some adults) got to experience a ride in the big F650 truck which was a highlight on the day.
A whopping $15,827.30 was raised on the day. Thank you to all the committee and volunteers for making the day such an incredible success.
A big shout out to everyone who attended the day, for your generosity and for making this day so special.
This is an annual event on the community calendar, next year will be held on 6th November, please save the date.
