It is extremely important that all residents sign in using the QR code system, to the facility upon arrival. QR codes are located at all entry points at every club.  The Main doors will be the only entry in use during the lock down period.

These restrictions are designed to reduce the risk of further community transmission.

By signing in and attending the facilities you agree to the following, be aware you may be asked to leave for not complying.

•             Cleaning will take place regularly throughout the day to all touch areas

•             A ZERO tolerance policy will be strictly followed, any residents seen not adhering to social distancing, booking times or being abusive to staff or contractors will be asked to

leave the premises and suspension of use of facilities will apply The COVID NSW website is monitored daily and as restrictions change so will the procedures that have been implemented.

The above has been put in place to protect the health of the community and safeguard against potential fines of up to $55,000.00 per club or venue.  This has the potential to impact the community budget by $165,000.00 should fines be imposed.

As announced earlier today, the current stay-at-home orders will be extended across all of Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong, from 6pm today until 11.59pm on Friday 9 July.

Everyone in Greater Sydney must stay at home, unless it is for an essential reason.

Reasons to leave home include:

  • shopping for food or other essential goods and services
  • compassionate needs or medical care, including being vaccinated for COVID‑19 unless you have been identified as a close contact
  • exercise outdoors in groups of 10 or fewer
  • essential work or education, where you cannot work or study from home.

People who have been in the Greater Sydney region (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong) on or after 21 June must follow the stay-at-home orders for a period of 14 days after leaving Greater Sydney.

Please check the NSW Health website regularly, as the list of venues of concern and relevant health advice are being updated as investigations continue.

Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.

There are more than 300 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 testing clinics or contact your GP.

HLS and the Community Association thank you for your understanding and support on this matter.
