Fun Run

WinnersCompetitors from the community and beyond put on their race gear and headed to the Harrington Grove Country Club for the 3rd Annual Fun Run.

The sun shone and the competition was fierce as the street of the Grove came alive with the sound of feet pounding the pavement.

Following the completion of the race, participants were invited to stay for a sausage sizzle, with all proceeds going to the Inghams Institute. We thank everyone for their support.

The best dress costume brought us a Mexican with a Ukulele, Superman and mini Batgirl, a Minion and a variety of onesies. Thank you to all who dressed up and to Athlete's Foot for donating the prizes.

Fire Hydrants

It has come to our attention that multiple residents have buried and covered the hydrants located in their front yards. We ask that residents familiarise themselves with the policies surrounding fire hydrants.

A summary of this information is listed below:

  •          It is an offence to cover and block a hydrant
  •          Covering a hydrant will lead to penalties and fines
  •          The NSW fire brigade needs easy access to the hydrants for emergency situations
  •          If the hydrant sits too low, contact Sydney Water to have it raised
