Future use of the sales space and back office areas

As the full transition from Harrington Estates over to the Community Association draws nearer, the Executive Committee is being asked to consider their options regarding the future use of the sales area and back-office space at the Country Club.

Magnolia Club Bookings

A friendly reminder that there have been a couple of changes relating to bookings at the Magnolia Club.

These changes include:

The Alfresco Room will remain locked unless booked as at Mon 11 Sept to help protect the room from damage. All residents who have booked the room will be contacted prior to their booking to remind them to collect the key from reception on the day of their booking. See the Booking FAQs for further details of these procedures. We have also removed the arm chairs & coffee table from the Alfresco Room and placed the large table & chairs from main room into the Alfresco Room.

Table 1 now cannot be booked in the Magnolia Club, however residents are still welcome to use the space whenever it’s available on the day, provided you have also not booked the Alfresco Room on that same day. Current weekday perpetual bookings of Table 1 are encouraged to contact Loretta to organise the continuation of their group meetings/activity sessions.

Vale Lady Mary Fairfax

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Lady Mary Fairfax last week. Lady Mary was instrumental in the development of Harrington Park and we respect and acknowledge the vision she had for the community and the enormous contribution she made. Although we are saddened by her loss, we celebrate and appreciate the extraordinary life that she led. May she rest in peace.

Pools Opening Fri 15 Sept

With the warmer weather heading our way, both the Magnolia and Country Club pools will be opening a week earlier than previously advertised. The covers are now on the pool to assist in warming up the water naturally to help reduce the heating costs when it’s time to turn the heat switch on! Pools are usually heated to a temperature of 25 degrees, so the water can still be quite brisk for casual swimming in the first few weeks of Spring – not that the kids will notice though!
